Panhellenic Council is now hosting a Welcome Home drive to help support the women and families associated with My Sister’s Place by giving necessities needed in a household. My Sister’s Place has a mission of putting these women and families into stable housing so the ability to provide the supplies needed to get started in these new homes allows them to have stress alleviated from this. Some examples of what can be donated can include:
-Kitchen Ware
-Bathroom Necessities
-Cleaning Supplies
-Laundry Supplies
-And many more!
If you are interested in donating any supplies to help welcome these families into their new homes please bring them to the Student Union donation box across from the Information center from March 24th-March 30th.Contact Information:

UConn Health
Attention artists of UConn Health:
It’s time for another employee art show in the Connector Gallery, and we want you to be a part of it. Please send up to three sample images of your original art to arochester@uchc.edu. We will accept submissions for this Employee/Staff Art Show until 5 p.m. Thursday, April 3.
Volunteers from our art committee will select original works of art by UConn Health employees and Staff to display in our Connector Gallery between University Tower and CT Tower. Space is limited, so we will only display up to three works per artist and no more than 20 at a time depending on size and availability of wall space.
- All works on paper must be framed to ensure its protection.
- All artworks must have wire installed for hanging.
- If selected and your work is not prepared for hanging, it will be turned away because it must be installed using our hanging system.
- To prevent safety hazards and/or accidental damage in this is high-traffic area, we will not display sculptures that require pedestals.
- If needed, contact Andre Rochester as soon as possible at arochester@uchc.edu for guidance on how to properly prepare your art for gallery display.
Selection will be based primarily on collective themes and aesthetic complement to other submissions. If your work is not selected for this exhibit, please consider submitting again in the future. We look forward to viewing your art and celebrating your artistic talents at UConn Health.
