MISSION STATEMENT

ACES is UConn's academic advising program for students who want to explore the University's academic opportunities before deciding on a field of study and for students who must complete specific requirements before applying to a University program.

The ACES Mission

• To complement UConn's educational mission by providing:
  > the ACES student with an academic home and high-quality advising
  > general advising, educational planning, and referral
  > a University-wide academic advising and information network
• To encourage and support the development of high-quality advising programs throughout the University of Connecticut
• To assist new students with the transition to the University through participation in First Year Programs
