ACES EXPERIENCE
Students advised through ACES are encouraged to follow a plan outlined in a series
of steps designed to guide them to an academic major. Successful progression
to a major depends upon the student's initiative and ACES' ability to provide
opportunities for students to identify their interests and explore their options.
The time frame or sequence may vary by student, but all students are encouraged
to declare a major by the fourth semester of the academic career. The following
series of steps and related activities should serve as a useful guide.
